ASTEROID MINING
From "Prometheus" to the original "The Thing" . All the "alien contamination" films and the fun had with them from childhood inspired me to work on this piece.
It carries a touch teenage/horror humor that accompanied some of the old school scenes.
Started as an Olivia Wilde likeness sculpture but I thought would be a fun idea to give her a space suit...
